Day 1 – The meaning of ethics and the role of ethics in the municipal workplace, understand ethics at the highest level related to municipal government, key environmental influencers and stakeholders and how they interact and influence ethical decision making for municipalities, and how to link municipal business activity to ethical practices.

Course Description:
Day 2 – How ethics play a role in municipal leadership and how to lead by example, case studies of ethical dilemmas in municipal government will be reviewed and examples of ethical problem solving will be covered, accounting and finance professionals and managers as stakeholders, and how to foster an environment of ethical behavior developing a culture of positive behaviors.
